About Elsa Boch

Stylist and designer based near Nantes since 2016, trained in textile design at HEAR in Mulhouse and in object design at ESAD in Reims. After several years as a designer at Lucas Nichetto Studio , she became passionate about ceramics.

Since 2017 , following an internship with a ceramist, she has been working with clay . Its objects are made of sandstone, shaped with a plate or coil . She particularly likes these slow techniques which allow her to take her time and draw the object in three dimensions little by little.

The aesthetic universe of his ceramics is both raw and delicate . Raw in the material and the textures always present: roughness, roughness and traces of tools . Delicate in the simple and recognizable shapes and the decorations all in nuances of muted tones, shine and transparencies.
