Since 1918, Pilot has been designing writing instruments that combine innovation and Japanese tradition. At the time, Japan was seeking to simplify the writing of its ideograms while adopting international calligraphic standards.
The pens were then nicknamed "10,000-year brushes" in homage to the uninterrupted flow of their ink.
