Quantity for one teapot : 10g / 210ml (the tea can be reused 3 times!)

Can be drunk hot or cold

Water temperature: 100℃ (boiling water)

Infusion time: 30 sec.

Ippodo's origins date back three centuries, to 1717, when Rihei Watanabe founded his first shop called Omiya, near the Imperial Palace in Kyoto, specializing in the sale of tea and ceramics. In 1846, the shop was renamed Ippodo, which literally means "preserving a tradition."

This name was given by Prince Yamashina, a great admirer of Ippodo tea, who wished for the shop to perpetuate one and the same tradition: offering high-quality tea. Since then, Ippodo has managed to adapt to changing times while remaining true to its commitment to excellence in Japanese tea.
